Jaime Anderson

Jaime is a career Army Officer and resides with his family in Maryland. He is married to Sissy, who is from Kentucky, and together they have two children, Kyle and Kayla. He spent most of his youth in Texas and graduated from Texas A&M. He received a Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri and a PhD in Microbiology from the University of Louisville. Although he got his first banjo when he was a teenager, he did not seriously take up playing the banjo until much later in life.  Early music influences included Hank Williams Sr., Tom T. Hall and Merle Haggard.  Later in life, he turned to bluegrass music and became an avid fan of Don Reno which has also greatly influenced his writing style. Both his and Gene’s appreciation for Don Reno naturally drew them together and eventually led to their songwriting collaborations.
